Crack the net by ear. A neon-noir roguelite where you echo back the tunes the security software sings.
โถ PLAY NOW๐ฐ Free while in beta.
Every piece of ICE, the security software guarding the net, sings a short tune. Listen, then play the same pads back in the same order to hurt it. Then the trace comes: two beeps, and you call whether the second one was lower, the same or higher before the timer runs out.
A run is about 10 to 15 minutes. You pick a path across a map of ICE, black markets and safehouses, collect chips and scripts, and take on a boss at the end. XP goes into The Rig, a skill tree that carries over between runs.
Whatโs in the beta
- Three districts (Street Net, Corp Grid, Black Core). Winning one opens the next.
- Threat levels 0 to 10 for each district
- 17 ICE, including bosses with several phases
- Rules that bend what you hear: reversed phrases, stutters, decoy bells, lying lights, rushing tempos
- Plays on desktop and phone, installs as an app, works offline, saves mid-run
Known issues
- Intro banners can show up again after you resume a run.
- How to play is on the main menu but not in the pause menu.
- Black Core at threat 10 is very hard.
- The balance is still being tuned, so tell me where it feels unfair.
